Call for Speakers
Interested in presenting at our next conference? We would love to hear from you!
We welcome presentations on legislative procedure, legislative drafting, legislative technology, stakeholder engagement, law reform, implementation of law, interpretation of law, and topics on specific subject matter areas, such as environmental protection or anti-corruption efforts, to the extent they relate to law making and law reform. This scope includes statutes, regulations/secondary legislation, ordinances, treaties, model laws, legislative rules of procedure, court-issued rules, judicial interpretations, advisory opinions, and other forms of lawmaking. It may be country-specific, international in nature, or on a universally applicable topic.
Speakers are expected to deliver a one-hour presentation, with at least 10 minutes reserved for questions. Speakers must meet certain deadlines to submit topic descriptions and materials so that our conference may be accredited for Continuing Legal Education (CLE).
Please contact info@ilegis.org with a topic proposal and a CV / biography / or other information about yourself.
